Job summary

Noblehill Primary in Dumfries and Galloway is recruiting a Teacher Additional Support for Learning on a 0.6 FTE, 21 hours per week, temporary until 18 August 2027.

The successful candidate will work with pupils and staff to identify barriers to learning, deliver targeted interventions, observe, advise, mentor and train.

Applicants must be registered with GTCS; PVG scheme checks apply and secondment may be possible.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS).
• PVG scheme check required before offer.
• Temporary post with potential for secondment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess barriers to learning for pupils.
• Deliver targeted interventions and individualized teaching support.
• Observe, advise, mentor and train staff as required.
