Job summary

Falkirk Council is looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistant at Deanburn Primary School. You will provide support for teachers, early years professionals and children to enhance learning experiences and achievement.

You will undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children, and you should enjoy working as part of a team within our Enhanced Support classes during term time. This post is temporary until April 2027.

Falkirk Council are looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistant for Deanburn Primary School. You will provide support for teachers, early years professionals and children to enhance experiences and achievement for children. You will undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children.

Good communication skills are essential and the role requires a practitioner who is experienced in working with children. The successful applicant will work within our Enhanced Support classes. You should enjoy working as part of a team.

You will work 26 hours per week on a term time basis. The school are open to the possibility of splitting these hours across 2 Part Time posts.

This post is temporary until April 2027 due to service requirement.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
