Job summary

WMJobs is seeking a Grade 2 Teaching Assistant (Learning Support Mentor) for a school in Worcester. The role is 32 hours per week, term time only plus training days, with a September 2026 start date.

You will work under the guidance of the SENDCo and the Senior Leadership Team to support students with SEND both in and out of classrooms, enabling access to learning and promoting inclusive practice. Salary ranges from £19,435 to £19,743 per annum.

Qualifications

• Work under the instruction of the SENDCo to support students with SEND.
• Provide learning support both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist the SLT in promoting inclusive learning.

Responsibilities

• Support named students with SEND to access learning activities.
• Assist with preparation and delivery of learning tasks during lessons.
• Monitor behaviour and provide care and encouragement as required.
