Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist SEND setting in Wolverhampton. This role supports pupils with Autism and additional needs in a rewarding environment.

Full-time, term-time, 32.5 hours per week, long-term temporary; pay £90–£130 per day. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality educational and pastoral support throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Autism and additional learning needs in the classroom
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
• Provide one-to-one and small group support
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement with learning
• Assist with personal care and wellbeing of pupils
