Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for its Berkshire College of Agriculture Maidenhead campus. The role is full-time, term-time only, 37 hours per week across 37 weeks per year, with support for students in the motor vehicle department.

The post involves assisting with planning, delivery and assessment, supporting students with learning barriers, and helping develop English, mathematics and ICT skills. DBS checks and safeguarding apply.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics (GCSE grade A-C or equivalent).
• Experience supporting learners with diverse needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or dyspraxia is desirable.
• Positive attitude and ability to work across departments or remotely if needed.
• Strong organisational skills and proactive approach; able to meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities.
• Support whole classes, small groups or individuals per EHCPs.
• Help with assignments, exam prep and developing English, maths and ICT skills.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records.
