Job summary

Solihull College & University Centre invites applications for an hourly paid Learning Support Assistant with intimate care responsibilities at Blossomfield Campus. You will support students with additional needs to access education and daily activities.

The role requires up-to-date personal care/moving and handling training, GCSE English and Maths, and administration duties; you will work within the Additional Needs Team to maintain paperwork and assist learners during lessons.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with additional needs in further education settings.
• Experience in administration tasks and maintaining Additional Support paperwork.
• Up-to-date training relating to intimate/personal care and moving and handling of people.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in providing intimate/personal care for students.
• Support students to access washrooms and canteen.
• Support with theory and practical lesson activities.
• Maintain Additional Needs paperwork as part of the team.
