Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Are you passionate about removing learning barriers and enabling every pupil to reach their potential? Join us as a Teaching Assistant, working directly with teachers to implement tailored learning activities and provide essential academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups. This varied role spans classroom support, intervention management and helping to develop individualised pupil support plans.

This is a great opportunity to help develop creative learning opportunities for pupils with Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure.

You will be working in one of our schools where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

You will be integral to the teaching cycle, implementing planned learning activities, supporting the teacher in monitoring and recording pupil progress and providing constructive feedback.

You will support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND), assisting in the development of individual plans and progression towards EHCP outcomes.

Whilst previous experience working in an SEN environment would be desirable, excellent communication skills, the right motivation, and strong levels of resilience are just as important. Along with a willingness to learn and develop a strong understanding of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
