Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (Personal Care) to work with students with additional learning needs in North London. The role involves providing academic, physical, and personal care support to help learners access the curriculum and participate in college life.

You will collaborate with teaching staff and SEND professionals to implement tailored support plans, ensure safeguarding and wellbeing, and contribute to progress reviews and records as required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND, including ASC/ADHD or complex needs.
• Experience providing personal care support with dignity and respect.
• Ability to work with lecturers and SEND professionals to deliver tailored support.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality academic, physical, and communication support to students with additional learning needs.
• Support students to access the curriculum and participate in lessons and activities.
• Work with staff to deliver personalised support plans and learning interventions.
• Assist students with personal care needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Support one-to-one and small group sessions to promote engagement and progress.
• Contribute to planning and delivery of learning activities to remove barriers to learning.
• Monitor progress and maintain records per college procedures.
• Attend reviews and contribute to target setting and reports.
• Promote wellbeing, safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
• Collaborate with lecturers, SEND teams, therapists and support staff.
