Job summary

Castle Education is seeking Learning Support Assistants for flexible supply work in York. You will join a team supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, KS2 with 1:1 and small group sessions, in a variety of school settings.

Ideal candidates will be caring, reliable and able to adapt to different schools and schedules. The role offers flexible days, weekly PAYE pay, holiday pay, and ongoing opportunities to build experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant in schools.
• Experience with EYFS, KS1 and KS2 is beneficial.
• Capable of 1:1 and small-group support.
• Willing to work flexibly across days and hours.

Responsibilities

• Work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Provide 1:1 support and small group assistance.
• Support pupils with learning needs and SEN.
• Assist with daily classroom activities and routines.

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or SEN Support Assistant looking for flexible work in York?
Castle Education are looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable Learning Support Assistants to work across primary schools in York and the surrounding areas.

Whether you are looking for regular work, a few days each week or occasional supply around your existing commitments, we can offer the flexibility to choose when you work.

The Role

• Across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• On a 1:1 basis
• In small groups
• Within a classroom environment
• With additional learning needs and SEN
• With communication and interaction difficulties
