Job summary

Castle Education is seeking enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistants to join our supply team in Manchester. You will support pupils with SEN, SEND, Autism, and Complex Needs, in individual or small-group settings.

We offer flexible hours, weekly PAYE pay, holiday pay, and the chance to pick shifts across different settings, with free training and CPD. Whether you want a few days, regular work, or something more flexible, we’ll find placements that fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in education or support roles involving SEN
• Ability to support learning, emotional regulation and communication
• Comfort working with students with complex needs in different settings

Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually, in small groups or with the wider classroom team
• Assist with learning activities and day-to-day school routines
• Support emotional regulation, confidence and independence in pupils
• Help with day-to-day activities and task completion
• Provide a safe, encouraging environment for learners

We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring SEN Learning Support Assistants to join our supply team.

Whether you’re looking for a few days a week, regular work or something more flexible, we can help find placements that work around you.

The Work

You’ll support pupils who may have: SEN | SEND | Autism | Complex Needs | SEMH | Behavioural Needs | Communication Difficulties

Depending on the setting, you’ll work with pupils individually, in small groups or as part of the wider classroom team.

Your support could include helping pupils with learning, emotional regulation, communication, confidence, independence and day-to-day school activities.
