Job summary

Castle Education is seeking Specialist Learning Support Assistants to support children and young people with SEN and additional needs in schools and specialist settings. Roles offer flexible part-time, full-time or ad-hoc work, with regular PAYE pay and holiday pay.

You’ll work 1:1, in small groups or within a classroom, helping pupils access learning, develop independence and build confidence. No evenings or weekends in school settings.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs.
• Experience with autism and SEMH beneficial.
• Ability to work 1:1, in small groups or in a classroom.

Castle Education are currently recruiting Specialist Learning Support Assistants for schools and specialist settings.

This is a great opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Support Workers and education professionals looking for flexible part-time, full-time or ad-hoc work.

What You’ll Be Doing

You could be supporting pupils with:

• SEN and additional learning needs
• Complex needs
• Communication and interaction difficulties
• Autism
• SEMH and behavioural needs
• Learning and developmental needs

Support may be provided 1:1, in small groups or within a classroom, helping pupils access learning, develop independence and build confidence.
You can choose whether you’d prefer to work regularly within one setting or enjoy the variety of different schools.
