We are seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants to join our team at Longdon Hall School, part of Acorn Education. Your role will involve supporting teachers, working with pupils with varied and complex needs, and promoting a positive learning environment.
This position is suitable for those looking to start or continue their career in education, with opportunities to support lesson planning and delivery in a creative setting.
Previous experience in an SEN/ASC environment is desirable, but excellent support skills, motivation, resilience, and personal qualities are equally important. Candidates from customer-facing industries such as retail, hospitality, and leisure are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications required include GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English. The ideal candidate will be calm, engaging, resilient, team-oriented, and motivated to help pupils reach their potential.
Longdon Hall School is an independent specialist day school for pupils aged 7-18 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our team works collaboratively to ensure positive outcomes for our pupils.
This role is based in Lichfield, within commuting distance of Cannock, Burton upon Trent, and surrounding areas.
