Role: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Longdon Hall School, Lichfield, Staffordshire WS15 4PT

Salary: GBP20,906.25 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

We are looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants to join our team at Longdon Hall School, part of Acorn Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering creative and tailored educational experiences to pupils with varied and complex needs.

This role offers an opportunity for those looking to start or continue their career in Education, with a focus on inspiring learning and supporting pupil achievement in a safe and respectful environment.

You will work with individual and small groups of pupils, prepare classrooms and materials, and build positive relationships to promote engagement and learning. Experience in SEN/ASC environments is desirable but not essential; support skills, motivation, resilience, and personal qualities are equally important.

Qualifications include GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English. The ideal candidate is calm, engaging, resilient, team-oriented, and genuinely motivated to help pupils reach their potential.
