Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a SEN school in Salisbury. This full-time role involves providing 1:1 support for a pupil with autism to help them access learning and build confidence.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies, foster a positive environment, and ensure pupils feel valued, understood, and supported throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a school or childcare setting.
• Nurturing, patient and positive approach.
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Confidence supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for children with autism.

• Support during 8:30am to 3:30pm, term time only.

£14.24 - £14.50 per hour(depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

Vision for Education are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a nurturing SEN school in Salisbury. This fulltime role involves providing 1:1 support for children with an autism diagnosis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive in the classroom.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support, implement strategies, and create a positive, inclusive environment where both children feel valued, understood, and encouraged.
