Vision for Education are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a nurturing SEN school in Melksham, Wiltshire. This fulltime role involves providing 1:1 support for children with an autism diagnosis, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and thrive in the classroom. The hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, term time only. Ideally, you will be available full-time, but we will also consider ad-hoc staff, as we always need people to cover day to day and shorter term bookings.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support, implement strategies, and create a positive, inclusive environment where both children feel valued, understood, and encouraged. You may be working on a 1:1 basis or within the classroom as a general Learning Support Assistant.
