Sheffield Primary School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join from September in a full-time, long-term role in Sheffield. You will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working 1:1 and in small groups to help remove barriers to learning.

Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking for your next role? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and supporting them to achieve their full potential.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups.
Support children with additional learning needs, including SEND where required.
Help deliver engaging learning activities alongside the class teacher.
Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and social development.
Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience supporting children in a UK primary school or similar educational setting.
Has experience working with children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language needs or SEMH (desirable).
Is patient, compassionate and committed to helping every child succeed.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
