Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Primary Classroom Support Assistant to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across Sheffield schools. You will support pupils across EYFS to KS2, deliver small group interventions and provide occasional 1:1 support, in a friendly classroom environment.

Salary is £92.56–£95 per day (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay). Start ASAP or on a date that suits you. Opportunities for long-term and permanent roles may be available.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
• Previous experience in a school or childcare setting.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Primary Classroom Support Assistant to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of welcoming primary schools throughout Sheffield.

This Primary Classroom Support Assistant opportunity offers flexibility whilst allowing you to support pupils throughout EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Working as a Primary Classroom Support Assistant in Sheffield is ideal for candidates who enjoy helping children thrive within supportive classroom environments. Pay: £92.56 - £95 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

About the Role

Working as a Primary Classroom Support Assistant in Sheffield, you will work alongside teachers to support learning, encourage pupil engagement and help create a positive classroom environment.

The Primary Classroom Support Assistant role in Sheffield includes supporting whole-class learning, delivering small group interventions and providing occasional 1:1 support where required.
