Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support students in Bradford. You will work one-to-one and in small groups to help learners access education and develop confidence. A patient, empathetic approach and strong communication are essential.

In this role you will assist teachers, monitor progress, and collaborate with parents and professionals to promote student welfare and inclusive learning environments.

Learning Support Assistant

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our supportive education team in Bradford.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students with a range of learning needs, ensuring they can access education, develop confidence, and thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students.
  • Assist learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Help students develop academic, social, and emotional skills.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
