Job summary

Academics is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work across Bradford and Calderdale. You will support pupils 1:1 or in small groups, assisting teachers to create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment.

Role offers flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities with competitive daily pay. Applicants should have experience with children in educational settings and hold a valid DBS or be willing to apply through Academics.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in educational or SEND settings.
• Genuine passion for supporting learners of all abilities.
• Patience, resilience and excellent communication skills.
• A valid Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply through us.
• Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential.

About the Role

We are seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are enthusiastic about making a real difference in the classroom. You'll work closely with teachers and SENDCOs to support pupils with a range of needs, including:

• Autism (ASD)
• Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH)
• Speech and Language difficulties
• Learning difficulties
• Behavioural needs
