A local school federation in Backwell is seeking a passionate Learning Partner to support children's learning in the classroom. The role involves working with small groups and individuals, supervising lunch breaks, and assisting teachers in various tasks. Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 qualifications and experience working with children. Hours: 22.50 hours per week
Monday – Friday 8.30am – 1:00pm
Term Time Only. Including 5 Inset Days
Contract: Fixed Term - Subject to a review of the school’s budget and staffing review
Start: As soon as possible – 31st August 2026
Pay scale JG4: SCP 7 – 11 (£26,403 - £28,142 fte)
(£14,102 - £15,031 pro rata)
The Governors are seeking to appoint a Learning Partner to support children at West Leigh Infants. This involves classroom support including working with small groups, working 1:1 with certain children, covering break and lunchtime supervision.
The position is term time only and fixed term contract and will be initially for the remainder of this academic year subject to a staffing review.
