Job summary

We Change Lives is seeking a Learning Disability Support Worker to join Guernsey House and Park Drive teams in Northwest England. You'll provide personal care, behavioral support, and help residents build independence, communicating with warmth and patience.

The role offers a permanent 42-hour contract, a 3 on/3 off rolling rota, and a starting rate of £12.71 per hour, plus a £250 welcome bonus and other paid benefits as described.

• Full UK Driver's license.
• Interest and willingness to engage in the hobbies of the people we support.

Job description

Guernsey House is home to 4 women in their 20s who each use wheelchairs, one of which is non-verbal and communicates with Makaton, and they all have a shared passion for fashion, beauty, shopping, and coffee trips. Then, Park Drive is home to two men and a lady with diverse needs who each enjoy a range of hobbies and engage in their local community. We're seeking team members who can share in these individuals' passions and provide support with a keen sense of fun and motivation.

A Day in the Life of a Learning Disability Support Worker

As a Learning Disability Support Worker, no two days are alike - much like the diverse individuals we support.
