Job summary

We Change Lives (WCL) is seeking a Bank Support Worker to provide compassionate care across our elderly, dementia, and mental health services. You will work ad hoc, with days and nights available, and choose shifts that fit your timetable.

This role offers pay enhancements for night hours and access to benefits through our online rota system. Applicants with care experience will hit the ground running, supporting residents to maintain independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Experience in care settings preferred.
  • Experience with elderly, dementia, learning disabilities or mental health needs beneficial.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Bank Support Worker

As a Bank Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support across our various services, including residential homes, supported living, and community schemes. You'll have the opportunity to support people with a variety of needs, including older people and people with dementia, people with learning disabilities and people with mental health needs.

Job Summary

To work under the direction of the Service Manager to meet the needs of the people we support, promoting an environment that provides high-quality, personalised care through individual consultation, continued development, and learning.

Qualifications

Desirable:

A recognised health or social care qualification

Experience

Additional relevant training or qualifications

Essential:

Evidence of wanting to professionally develop

Technical Skills

Ability to handle basic numerical data, including simple financial information
