Job summary

We Change Lives is seeking a Learning Disability Support Worker to join Guernsey House and Park Drive teams in Northwest England. You'll provide personal care, behavioral support, and help residents build independence, communicating with warmth and patience.

The role offers a permanent 42-hour contract, a 3 on/3 off rolling rota, and a starting rate of £12.71 per hour, plus a £250 welcome bonus and other paid benefits as described.

Qualifications

• Experience with Makaton communication.
• Full UK Driver's license.
• Interest and willingness to engage in the hobbies of the people we support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care as needed to residents.
• Offer behavioural support and promote independence.
• Foster confidence and positive relationships through effective communication.
• Support residents with activities and community engagement.
