Job summary

Breath HR is looking for a Learning & Development Officer to lead onboarding and develop training plans for staff at Citizens Advice Bury & Bolton. You will support line managers with development needs and ensure compliance with various accreditation requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for supporting others. The role offers a hybrid working pattern after training, with a flexible approach to duties.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt, prioritize deadlines and competing tasks.
• Genuine passion for supporting others to develop.
• Experience in training and developing staff/volunteers or as an adviser.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding new starters and develop training plans.
• Support line managers with identified areas of development.
• Use insights to deliver focused training ensuring accessibility.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Work with local organizations to create training for VCSE groups.
• Support new project mobilization.
