Job summary

Nockolds Solicitors, a trusted UK law firm with offices in Bishop’s Stortford, is looking for a proactive Learning & Development professional to drive training across the firm. The role is part-time (3 days a week) with hybrid working.

You will design, deliver and evaluate programmes, support early careers, and manage the learning budget and LMS. The successful candidate will have CIPD Level 5, strong communication, and experience across face-to-face, virtual and blended learning.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience designing, coordinating, delivering and evaluating learning for different audiences.
• Ability to conduct learning needs analysis and translate findings into practical learning solutions.
• Understanding of face-to-face, virtual and blended learning approaches.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office, HR systems, learning platforms and intranet pages.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate engaging learning programmes aligned to Firm priorities.
• Research course materials and develop new learning opportunities; deliver induction training.
• Support the Nockolds Academy and manage trainee solicitor, newly qualified and leader programmes.
• Manage early careers activity including vacation schemes, apprenticeships and work experience.
• Conduct learning needs analysis and manage the learning budget with data-driven priorities.
• Advise colleagues on training options and maintain internal/external relationships.
• Maintain learning intranet content and the Access LMS platform.
• Manage Development Reviews and Partners’ 360° Reviews; support HR projects.
