Job summary

Citizens Advice Bury & Bolton is seeking a Training Lead to onboard new staff, design development plans with line managers and deliver targeted training across methods. You will support CPD, accreditation compliance, and work with local organisations to boost capacity.

A focus on continuous improvement and staff development is key, with responsibilities across diverse teams. You will join the Delivery Leadership Team, contributing to high quality, accessible advice delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in training and developing staff and/or volunteers or experience as an adviser.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities needed for a busy, client-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding new starters and develop training plans with line managers.
• Identify development needs and deliver focused training across delivery methods.
• Help ensure accreditation requirements (AQS, SQM, QAA) are met with CPD completion.
• Collaborate with local infrastructure organisations to train VCSE organisations.
• Support new project mobilisation and team capability building.
