Job summary

Careys is seeking an enthusiastic Learning & Development Specialist for an 18-month fixed-term contract. You will work with the L&D Manager and leaders to design engaging learning experiences, deliver leadership programmes, and support the LMS implementation, driving measurable impact across the organisation.

Applicants should have L&D experience in fast-paced environments, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to translate complex knowledge into practical training.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Learning & Development, Training or Talent Development role.
• Experience within construction or similar fast-paced environments such as logistics, transport, engineering, aviation or infrastructure.
• Strong facilitation skills delivering workshops both in person and virtually.
• Experience designing and developing learning content and resources.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience supporting or implementing learning technologies or LMSs.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and learner engagement.
• Strong organisational skills with multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Designing engaging learning experiences aligned to business needs.
• Updating and improving management, leadership and operational development programmes.
• Converting technical knowledge into practical learning experiences.
• Producing high-quality learning materials, facilitator guides and learner resources.
• Delivering behavioural, leadership and management development programmes face-to-face and virtually.
• Creating inclusive learning environments and encouraging participation.
