Job summary

Maidenhead-based client seeks a Learning and Development advisor on a 3-month contract to cover sickness. The role is hybrid with 2–3 days in the office and full-time hours Monday to Friday 8.15am–5.15pm.

You will lead on developing an L&D culture, plan and budget, deliver in-house programmes, and progress e-learning while monitoring completion and outcomes. Strong stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning and development is essential.
• Ability to develop annual L&D plans and manage budgets.
• Experience delivering in-house L&D programmes and e-learning rollout.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a strong L&D culture throughout the organisation.
• Create the annual L&D plan to align learning to priorities and budget.
• Deliver and record annual L&D activities on systems within timescales and budget.
• Negotiate with external providers for value for money and tailored programmes.
• Research, design and deliver in-house L&D programmes and e-learning.
• Oversee the rollout of essential e-learning and monitor completion.
• Promote L&D activities across the organisation via multiple channels.
• Support recruitment for apprenticeships and undergraduate placements.
• Assist managers with induction and personal development plans.
• Utilise systems to digitise and improve L&D processes.
• Coach employees to improve performance and plan succession.
• Lead on succession planning with People Services.
