Job summary

Lee Marley Group is seeking a recent graduate or early-career professional to join our Learning and Development team. The role supports training records, funding administration, course bookings, compliance tracking, and reporting across the business.

You will work with managers, operatives and external partners to keep learning accessible and aligned to business needs, helping to develop pathways, dashboards and MI while expanding your skills in learning systems.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or early-career professional in learning and development.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • Interest in apprenticeships or workforce development is a plus.
  • Comfort with data, records, and reporting.
  • Willing to learn new digital systems and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate training and development activities for employees and operatives.
  • Book training courses, assessments and development activities.
  • Maintain accurate training records, certificates and attendance.
  • Assist with administration of CITB grants, apprenticeship funding and claims.
  • Support use of the company's Learning Management System.
  • Produce reports on training activity, compliance, funding and engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve learning planning and delivery.
  • Support engagement with digital learning and workforce initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas for development pathways and career progression.

Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with initial experience in a learning and development environment who is looking to build a career within this space. The role will play a key part in supporting the ongoing enhancement of training and development opportunities for employees and operatives across the business.

Purpose of the Role

To help coordinate, develop and improve the company’s training and development activity by supporting training records, funding administration, course bookings, compliance tracking, learning systems and reporting. The role will work closely with managers, employees, operatives, apprentices, training providers and external partners to make sure learning is well organised, accessible, effective and aligned to business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination of training and development activities for employees and operatives including apprentices.
  • Book training courses, assessments and development activities, ensuring employees have the right learning at the right time.
  • Maintain accurate training records, certificates, compliance documentation and attendance information.
  • Assist with the administration of CITB grants, apprenticeship funding, training claims and related documentation.
  • Support the implementation and day-to-day use of the company’s Learning Management System or learning platform.
  • Produce reports on training activity, compliance, funding utilisation and learning engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve how learning and development is planned, communicated and delivered across the business.
  • Support engagement with digital learning, skills development and workforce development initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas to improve employee and operative development pathways, succession planning and career progression.
