Job summary

Gordon Yates Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting a Learning and Assessment Administrator for a professional membership organisation in Central London. The role is a five-month fixed-term contract, 35 hours per week, with hybrid working (2 days in the office and 3 days from home) and an ASAP start.

You will support learners through the learning, examination and assessment process, handling enquiries, data, and reporting with accuracy and discretion in a busy team.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of administrative experience.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using a CRM, database or similar business system.
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data-processing skills.
  • Strong organisation, planning and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Confidence dealing with customers or stakeholders in a busy environment.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to ask questions when needed.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while remaining calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to learner and stakeholder enquiries by telephone and email.
  • Supporting online examinations and assessments.
  • Uploading candidate data and assessment materials.
  • Maintaining accurate records across CRM and assessment systems.
  • Resolving learner access and platform queries.
  • Scheduling meetings and coordinating with examiners and other external stakeholders.
  • Tracking tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Processing invoices, payments and associated administration.
  • Working with Excel spreadsheets, reports and data.
  • Producing reports and statistics from internal systems.
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information securely.
  • Supporting the wider team during busy assessment periods.

Learning and Assessment Administrator (5 month fixed term)

£28,000 per annum

5-month Fixed-Term Contract Full-time, 35 hours

Hybrid: 2 days office / 3 days home

We are recruiting a Learning & Assessment Administrator to join an established and highly regarded professional membership organisation in Central London.

This is an initial five-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of continuing beyond this depending on business requirements.

Working within a friendly and busy Education & Learning team, you'll provide high-quality administration supporting learners throughout the learning, examination and assessment process.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, computer savvy, quick to learn and confident using databases and systems. Previous experience within education, examinations, assessment, a membership organisation or similar environment would be particularly useful.

What will you be doing?

You’ll provide varied administrative and systems support, including:

  • Responding to learner and stakeholder enquiries by telephone and email
  • Supporting online examinations and assessments
  • Uploading candidate data and assessment materials
  • Maintaining accurate records across CRM and assessment systems
  • Resolving learner access and platform queries
  • Processing assessment entries, postponements, withdrawals and absences
  • Supporting requests for reasonable adjustments and other assessment requirements
  • Scheduling meetings and coordinating with examiners and other external stakeholders
  • Tracking tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Processing invoices, payments and associated administration
  • Working with Excel spreadsheets, reports and data
  • Producing reports and statistics from internal systems
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information securely
  • Supporting the wider team during busy assessment periods
About You

You’ll ideally have:

  • At least two years' administrative experience
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
