Job summary

VTCT Skills is seeking an Assessment Administrator to join the Assessment Delivery team in a proactive, detail-oriented role. You will help develop and administer assessments, ensure regulatory compliance and manage information securely.

Key responsibilities include coordinating delivery activities, maintaining records, and supporting centres with queries. The role offers remote-friendly, part-time hours and opportunities for professional development within a regulated awarding organisation.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, review and administration of assessment materials to meet regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate assessment delivery activities and maintain accurate records; ensure secure handling of materials.
  • Provide guidance to centres and respond to assessment-related queries professionally and promptly.
  • Support quality assurance, reporting and continuous improvement projects.

Job description

Assessment Administrator
  • £16,470 - £18,212.16 (Based on 22.5 hours per week. FTE is 37 hours per week)

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assessment Administrator to join our Assessment Delivery team. You'll play an important role in supporting the development, delivery and quality assurance of assessments, helping to ensure processes are accurate, compliant and delivered to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a regulated awarding organisation where you'll collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help deliver high-quality assessments for learners and centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, review and administration of assessment materials, ensuring they meet regulatory and organisational standards.
  • Coordinate assessment delivery activities, maintain accurate records and ensure the secure handling of assessment information and materials.
  • Provide guidance and support to centres and stakeholders, responding to assessment-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with quality assurance activities, reporting and continuous improvement projects that enhance assessment processes and delivery.
About You
  • Experience working in a busy administrative environment with strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of written communication.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

  • 16 days annual leave plus bank holidays and birthday leave.
