Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd in Lincoln is seeking a proactive professional to champion adult learning programmes and drive learner referrals. You will build partnerships with external stakeholders, provide information, advice and guidance, and support recruitment and enrolment to achieve monthly targets.

You will work closely with tutors, the Skills Performance Manager and Heads of Curriculum while promoting inclusivity and safeguarding across learning programmes.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 2 IAG or equivalent qualification; GCSEs English, Maths and ICT; full driving licence.
• Desirable: L3 IAG or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strong relationships with external stakeholders to support programme growth.
• Identify and promote Adult Learning programmes and SWAPs to referred learners.
• Conduct information, advice and guidance sessions for potential learners.
• Engage with learners, employers and community groups to provide programme information.
• Maintain detailed learner referral records and coordinate with tutors and managers.
• Respond promptly to referral inquiries and provide support as needed.
• Assess learner needs and provide tailored information and guidance.
• Attend education and careers events to promote adult learning offerings.
• Ensure timely completion of recruitment and enrolment documentation.
• Meet monthly targets for starts, placements and progression.
• Develop learner engagement strategies to boost attendance and participation.
• Collect feedback to identify improvement opportunities and enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote programmes to potential learners.
