Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd seeks a proactive Engagement Lead to champion adult learning services and boost learner referrals. You will build partnerships with external stakeholders, identify suitable programmes, and guide prospective learners through information and advice sessions.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to engage and support adult learners.
• Strong IT skills including MS Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with external stakeholders to support adult learning programmes.
• Promote Adult Learning programmes and SWAPs to learners and referral sources.
• Deliver information, advice and guidance to ensure potential learners understand opportunities.
• Engage with learners, employers and community groups providing accurate programme information.
• Maintain detailed learner referral records and coordinate with tutors and managers.
• Respond promptly to referrals and provide guidance aligned with learner needs.
• Assess individual learner needs and provide tailored information, guidance and support.
• Attend education and careers events and promote adult learning to potential learners.
• Ensure timely completion of recruitment, enrolment and contract documentation.
• Meet monthly targets for programme starts, placements and progression.
• Develop learner engagement strategies to boost participation and attendance.
• Collect learner feedback to drive programme improvements.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote programmes.
