Job summary

Itec in Neath is seeking a dedicated Learner Coach on a full-time maternity cover (12 months) to provide end-to-end support to learners on JGW+. The role emphasizes pastoral care and safeguarding to help learners achieve positive outcomes.

• Experience supporting vulnerable learners.
• Experience working with unemployed/young people.
• Ability to motivate and support learners to overcome barriers.

Responsibilities

• Pastoral care and wellbeing support for learners.
• Manage a caseload; conduct caseload reviews with line manager.
• Identify learner support needs and liaise with safeguarding.
• Be point of contact for safeguarding and referrals to CW.
• Conduct learner interviews and inductions; document records.
• Ensure accurate records and notify relevant departments of learning needs.
