Job summary

Itec Training Solutions Limited is seeking a Learning Coach to provide end-to-end support for learners on JGW+. The role includes pastoral care, safeguarding, and coordinating learner interventions to ensure positive outcomes.

You will manage a caseload, conduct inductions, and work with Careers Wales to support referrals. A Welsh Government traineeship background and IAG qualification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable learners.
• Experience of working with unemployed young people.
• Safeguarding and Prevent experience.
• IAG qualification level 3 as a minimum or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral care and wellbeing support to all learners.
• Actively manage a caseload of learners and participate in caseload reviews.
• Identify learner personal support needs and coordinate interventions.
• Serve as point of contact for safeguarding issues and update My Concern as required.
• Maintain and grow the relationship with Careers Wales to support referrals.
• Conduct learner interviews and inductions, delivering structured sessions.
• Review paperwork to identify additional learning needs and notify relevant departments.
