What you will be doing

As a Water System Performance Leakage Analyst:



  • Timely completion of risk assessments required for the work impacting the clean water network, for example, the repair of leaks, the operation of assets on the network and reconfiguration of the clean water network.

  • Evaluate and analyse operational information, understanding data integrity difficulties, to resolve basic and more complex problems.

  • Assist with analysis of long‑term network issues such as leakage, loss of pressure, low flows, area integrity, and network resilience.

  • Working with the field team to problem‑solve and resolve operational issues, utilising the relevant flow and pressure data to identify anomalies.

  • Ensure all network operations follow current signed‑off Asset Management Procedures and that the Risk Assessment process is properly implemented and monitored in a timely fashion.

  • Sufficient work is planned for the night resource, allowing the team to remain productive throughout the working week.

  • Risk assessments are in place and approved by responsible engineers, where required.

  • Work packs are available and shared with the field team, ensuring clarity for work to be successfully delivered as planned.

  • Working alongside the Leakage and System Optimisation teams to ensure priority focus is in the correct areas.

Desirable


  • Degree‑educated graduate in a suitable discipline, like Engineering or will possess relevant practical industry experience of working within a water network or leakage environment.

  • Experience in the water network or utilities background.

  • Previous experience within leakage or a similar role.
