Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an experienced Windows desktop developer to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of native Windows applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and, when needed, C++. You will set best practices, drive accessibility, and collaborate with product designers and QA to shape the long-term roadmap for the Windows platform.

• Experience designing, building and shipping production-quality Windows desktop apps.
• Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and interop between managed and native code.
• Strong experience with accessibility APIs and inclusive software practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and C++ where needed.
• Define and enforce best-practices for Windows desktop development across the codebase.
• Drive accessibility efforts and validate support for UIAutomation and related accessibility frameworks.
• Collaborate with product designers, QA, and stakeholders to shape feature planning and long-term roadmap.
• Take ownership of full lifecycle of features from conception to release and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.
