Qualifications

• 3+ years in Windows desktop app development with Windows App SDK and WinUI.
• Experience with interop between managed and native code (.NET and C++).
• Proven track record building production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility APIs and inclusive software design.
• Excellent OOP, design patterns, data structures and multi-threading fundamentals.
• Experience leading design discussions, mentoring, and architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK and C#.
• Define best practices for architecture, performance, memory, UI responsiveness, and compatibility.
• Drive accessibility efforts including UI Automation, focus management, and screen reader support.
• Collaborate with product designers, QA, and stakeholders to shape feature roadmap.
• Own features end-to-end from conception to release and maintenance.
• Diagnose complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and architectural improvements.
