Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Windows desktop developer to define the architecture and shape the future of our Windows product. You will lead design, implementation, and testing for WinUI-based desktop apps, ensuring accessibility and high performance.

You will collaborate with design, QA, and product teams, mentoring engineers and driving architectural decisions with a user-centric focus.

Qualifications

• Windows desktop development using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C# and XAML; native Windows code experience a plus.
• Interop between managed (.NET) and native code is important.
• Proven track record shipping production-quality desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs (UI Automation).
• Solid fundamentals: OOP, patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, multi-threading/async.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications.
• Define and enforce best-practices for Windows desktop development across the codebase.
• Drive accessibility efforts and ensure keyboard navigation, screen-reader support.
• Collaborate with product designers, UX researchers, QA, and stakeholders on roadmap.
• Own features end-to-end from conception to maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and memory issues.
