Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a User Researcher to join the DCX practice in the Experience Design team. You will lead research across complex ecosystems, shaping strategy and delivery, with a focus on ethical, inclusive AI-driven solutions.

You'll work in multi-disciplinary agile teams, plan and run both traditional and AI‑enhanced studies, and translate insights into action for better products and services.

Qualifications

• Experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards.
• Hands-on experience leading user research using qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods.
• Experience across discovery through delivery of products or services.
• Strong storytelling, communication, stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary agile teams influencing design through insights and prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research for your team, suggesting the best approaches to capture user insights and exploring AI-enabled efficiency.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, PMs, designers and developers to plan and conduct high-impact research.
• Contribute to creating better products and services that are ethical, inclusive and user-centric.
• Plan and run traditional and AI-enhanced qualitative studies, including remote and in-person methods.
• Integrate surveys to identify actionable insights and work with analytics and AI tools for scale.
• Communicate findings and involve the team to build empathy and evidence-based design decisions with AI contexts.
