Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK is seeking an Integration Team Lead to guide the offshore and onshore assembly and integration of remotely operated underwater vehicles. You will oversee a team through testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery to customers on schedule and in accordance with specifications.

The role requires strong leadership and electronics knowledge, with experience in fibre optics and high‑quality fault resolution.

Qualifications

Proven team leadership in a fast-paced production area.
Strong communication and collaborative skills across departments.
Experience with electronics assembly, testing and fault isolation.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of Integration Engineering working on assembly, testing and commissioning of underwater robotics fleets.
Ensure team training to integrate assemblies and sub-assemblies per customer specs and documentation.
Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
Lead fault finding and repair and report issues in the required format.
Interpret designs and electrical drawings to assemble and test working assemblies and prototypes.
Promote 6S and health & safety for a safe working environment.
Maintain professional relationships with other departments to meet deadlines.
Carry out duties as directed by the Engineering Manager.
