Job summary

Saab UK in Fareham is seeking an Integration Team Lead to oversee the assembly, integration and testing of remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment. You will lead a team to deliver projects on time and to the required quality, coordinating with other departments and enabling offshore commissioning when needed.

The role requires strong leadership, engineering knowledge, and hands-on experience with fibre optic termination and testing.

Qualifications

• Previous team leadership experience is essential.
• Ability to lead a fast-paced production area and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
• HNC/HND in Electronics preferred.
• Good knowledge of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integration Team in assembling and testing remotely operated vehicles and supporting equipment.
• Oversee integration activities to ensure projects meet delivery schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure configuration documents are followed.
• Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
