Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK is seeking an Integration Team Lead to manage the Integration Engineering team within the Saab Seaeye Business Unit in Fareham. You will oversee the assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment in line with the configuration documents, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality.

The role requires proven team leadership, strong communication, and knowledge of fibre optic termination and testing.

Qualifications

Previous Team Leadership experience is essential.
Strong communication skills.
A minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics.
Good knowledge in fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

Lead a fast-paced production area and ensure deadlines are met.
Manage a team of Integration Engineering during assembly, testing and commissioning.
Ensure team are trained effectively to integrate assemblies and sub-assemblies to customer specifications.
Support offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
Lead the team in fault finding and repair, reporting faults in the required format.
Interpret designs, engineering information and electrical drawings to assemble and test working assemblies and prototypes.
Comply with 6S best practice and health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other departments to deliver objectives and meet deadlines.
Carry out any other duties as detailed by the Engineering Manager or authorised representative.
