Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Integration Team Lead for the Fareham site to manage a team responsible for assembly, testing, and commissioning of remotely operated underwater robotics systems. You will ensure teams are trained to integrate all assemblies to meet customer specifications and company documentation, while supporting offsite commissioning and field service as required.

The role requires proven team leadership, strong communication, and expertise in electronics with fibre optic testing.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a fast-paced production area.
• Strong communication and team leadership.
• Fibre optic termination knowledge and testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Integration Engineering working on the Assembly, Testing and Commissioning of underwater robotics fleet.
• Ensure team is trained to integrate assemblies and sub-assemblies to customer specifications.
• Lead fault finding and repair, reporting faults in the required format.
• Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as needed.
• Support continual improvement processes and document changes for quality.
