Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK is seeking an Integration Team Lead to manage the integration, assembly and commissioning of remotely operated systems within a defence/underwater robotics context. You will lead a fast-paced team, ensure training, and support offshore commissioning as required.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a solid electronics background (HNC/HND preferred). You will work closely with other departments to meet delivery and customer requirements, adhering to

Qualifications

Previous team leadership experience is essential.
Ability to lead a fast-paced production area and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills.
Good knowledge of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.
HNC/HND in Electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the Integration Team in the assembly, testing and commissioning of underwater robotics systems.
Ensure effective training of the team to integrate assemblies and sub-assemblies to customer specifications.
Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
Lead fault finding and report issues to support continual improvement.
Interpret designs, engineering information and electrical drawings to assemble and test working assemblies and prototypes.
Maintain 6S and health and safety practices in the workplace.
Collaborate with other departments to meet delivery objectives.
