Job summary

Fareham Introduction Saab UK is seeking an Integration Team Lead for the Saab Seaeye Business Unit in Fareham. You will lead the Integration Team responsible for assembling and integrating remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment in line with the configuration document, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.

Qualifications

Previous team leadership experience is essential.
Minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics.
Good knowledge in the use of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

Lead a team in the integration, assembly and testing of remotely operated vehicles and sub-assemblies.
Oversee offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
Ensure projects are completed on time and in line with delivery schedules and customer specifications.
Lead fault finding and repair activities and report issues in the approved format.
Support continual improvement processes and product quality.
Interpret designs, engineering information and electrical drawings to assemble and test working assemblies and prototypes.
Maintain 6S and health and safety compliance in the workplace.
Collaborate with other departments to meet deadlines and delivery objectives.
