Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a seasoned Integration Team Leader for its Fareham-based Saab Seaeye Business Unit. The role focuses on leading the assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and associated equipment, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to customer specifications.

You will oversee training, testing, and commissioning, including offsite support and fault resolution, while driving continuous improvement and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Previous Team Leadership experience is essential.
• Ability to lead a fast paced production area and ensure deadlines are being met.
• Strong communication skills.
• A minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics.
• Good knowledge in the use of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integration Team in assembly and testing of underwater robotics systems.
• Ensure team are trained effectively to integrate assemblies and sub-assemblies as per customer specs.
• Support product testing and prove system functionality including auxiliaries.
• Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
• Lead fault finding and repair, reporting issues in the required format.
• Interpret designs and electrical drawings to assemble and test working prototypes.
• Maintain 6S and health & safety policies in the work environment.
