Hitachi Rail is seeking a dedicated Lead Technician to join the Oxley Train Care Centre in the Midlands. You will lead maintenance, fault diagnosis and reliability improvements for Hitachi's rolling stock fleet, ensuring high safety and operational standards.

The role offers a permanent contract with a salary of £48,991 plus a 12.5% shift allowance, with a shift pattern that includes two weekends off per month, and a focus on safe, efficient operation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with fault diagnosis and maintenance of rolling stock.
• Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings and maintenance documentation.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on rolling stock assets.
• Remove, replace, assemble, modify, and install components using approved techniques.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and maintenance documentation.
• Diagnose and rectify complex electrical and mechanical faults.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records within SAP.
