Job summary

Rullion are looking for a Lead Technician to join our rolling stock team in Derby. The technician will service, fault find and repair rolling stock assets, with a focus on electrical faults.

The successful candidate will have E&M fault finding experience, hold a Level 3 engineering NVQ, stay calm under pressure and produce clear written reports. Rolling stock experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience in E&M fault finding using modern techniques.
• Minimum Level 3 engineering based NVQ.
• Calm and diplomatic under pressure.
• Ability to investigate complex electrical and mechanical faults and write detailed reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Rolling stock experience is advantageous but is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Service, fault find and repair rolling stock assets, predominantly electrical faults.
• Investigate and document complex faults and provide timely reports.
• Write clear technical reports of findings and recommendations.
