Loungers is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for Como Lounge, a bustling café bar, part of a fast-expanding hospitality brand across England and Wales. You will lead shifts, support the Head Chef, and ensure every dish meets high standards while fostering a collaborative kitchen culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie ready to step up.
• A passionate cook who takes pride in fresh ingredients and precise plating.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts, ensuring service runs smoothly from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and stand in during absences to maintain high standards.
• Set tone for quality, pace, cleanliness, hygiene and safety on the pass.
• Take ownership of routines like prep, stock, waste, orders and handovers.
• Coach and develop junior chefs to improve skills and food quality.
